From athletic complexes to sensitive natural habitats, Hanford ARC has the experience and resources to construct all types of parks and trails systems. Our experience alsoincludes the completion of community parks with play structures, landscaping, site furnishings, lighting and fencing. Hanford has installed trails in a variety of settings. Whether the challenge is narrow and steep equipment access or stringent requirements for ADA access, our crews maintain the standards and provide this element for public use of open space and parks.

Fernandez Ranch Creek RestorationFernandez Ranch Creek Restoration and Public Access
Martinez, Ca

Hanford ARC was selected to construct several major components of the Fernandez Ranch Creek Restoration and Public Access project.  Our scope included trail construction, minor creek restoration, revegetation, and public staging and picnic area construction.  Following the grading, we seeded native grass, and placed straw, coir fabric and wattles on the slopes.  We then installed approximately 7,000 container plants and seeds (acorns and buckeye) on the slopes and at the top of the bank.  More...

Memorial Park
Albany, CA

Hanford ARC contracted with the City of Albany to complete the restoration of two city parks- Ocean View and MemorialParks.Memorial Park and Ballfield restoration centered mostly around the ballfield. The entire field was replaced with a sodoutfield and new infield. Field amenities such as fencing, bleachers, drinking fountains, bullpen and batting cage were replaced. Hanford dismantled the historic fireplace and rebuilt it to current code standards. Our crew carefully salvaged and reused theoriginal rock. A new barbeque area with community and individual BBQ's, new picnic tables and plantings completed the project in the fall of 2007. More...

Albany, CA

Ocean View Park required installation of drainage and irrigation systems, as well as extensive planting of trees, sod and landscape plants. This park received a new infield and bleachers. We installed an ADA play structure, community gardens and additional amenities. More...
