Bolinas Wye Invasive Species Management & Native Plant Restoration

Work performed under this Work Order involves native plant habitat restoration and invasive plant removal efforts to support the restoration goals of Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy (Parks Conservancy) and Marin County Parks (MCP) in the Bolinas Wye Wetlands Resiliency Project Area in Marin County, CA.

The Bolinas Wye Wetlands Resiliency Project has rerouted Lewis Gulch Creek through its historic alluvial fan before entering Bolinas Lagoon, and the vegetation management portion of the project includes the restoration of native habitat in the alluvial fan by removal of non-native invasive species using manual/mechanical and/or chemical means. Target invasive species include but are not limited to Delairea odorata (Cape ivy), Rubus armeniacus (Himalayan blackberry), and Vinca major (periwinkle), and other priority species as determined and communicated by the Project Manager.
